Business information, made useful

A business information checklist for AI assistants

Organize the facts customers need: hours, services, prices, policies and the right next step.

Start with customer questions

Write down the questions your team answers repeatedly. For a restaurant, that may be kitchen hours and pickup options. For a salon, it may be consultation requirements. Build your information around answers you can verify, rather than writing a promotional paragraph for every question.

Keep one approved source

Record the business name, website, public contact details, hours, services, price conditions and booking links in one document. Add an owner and review date. If your website, menu and booking provider disagree, resolve the disagreement before copying it into another format.

Make exceptions explicit

A starting price is not a fixed quote. Office hours are not necessarily service hours. An appointment request is not a confirmed reservation. Write these distinctions in plain language so a customer does not have to infer them. For missing information, provide a contact route instead of a guessed answer.

Keep private details out

Public information can be copied and indexed. Do not include customer records, passwords, internal notes or staff personal contact details. Have the business owner approve the public version. Keep internal approval contacts separate from the facts you publish.

Check the customer journey

Open every booking, ordering and contact link on a phone. Confirm it reaches the correct location or service. Read the published information as a new customer would, then try the questions you collected. Repeat this when hours, prices or service providers change.

Use the checklist, then fill the gaps

Our checklist helps you track which information you have confirmed. It is a self-assessment, not a website scan or a prediction of AI discovery. Use the industry guides for questions specific to your business, then export your approved facts with the JSON builder.
